The NRA fundamentally corrupts our government, to deadly effect. There is nothing else in this nation which kills nearly 35,000 people each year and which our government is not attempting to combat.

Therefore, our primary policy goal is to end the NRA’s influence over our government so that there can be a functional and honest discussion about gun violence and its solutions in our government.

It is critical to NoRA, and to America, however, that some fundamental changes are made in both policy and who is able to participate in crafting policy. To this end, we have created a Gun Safety Bill of Rights. We encourage all who hold or aspire to hold office to both reject NRA funding and adopt the Gun Safety Bill of Rights as an attainable set of guiding principles and policy initiatives.
